What is Horse of the Season?
For each rosette your horse places 1st - 10th, or is awarded a special from any class, unless otherwise stated, you will be awarded a point towards their total.
The Online Horse Showing Horse of the Season runs Jan-March, April-June, July-Sept, and Oct-Dec. The horse with the most rosettes won between each season will be awarded our winner.
At the end of the entire year, all 4 winners get put forward for HORSE OF THE YEAR.
You can win Horse of the Season ONCE every 12 months. Once the 12 months have expired you will be eligible to win Horse of the Season again. i.e. Win Jan-March, you will be eligible from April the following year onwards.
Our Horse of the Season winner will be requested to create a paragraph or two dedicated to why your horse should be crowned Horse of the Year, along with a single image or collage to show off your horse. Both of these will be published via our Facebook page for our judge to view.
It is the owner's responsibility to ensure the paragraph and image have been submitted within the Horse of the Year timeframe.
What is Horse of the Year?
Horse of the Year will be one of our Horse of the Season winners who will be hand-picked by our judge.
Our judge will read through each individual entry and pick the winner based on each competitor's entry.
