Danielse Hi! My name is Xanthe and I have been riding horses since before I could walk. At the age of 6, I got my very first pony Varpullan Wessa. With her I firstly started competing in dressage and now, after six years of retirement, she recently celebrated her 30th birthday. When I turned 11, I got my pony Iscar. WIth Iscar I grew through all the classes from the start up to international CDIP level. While also competing in Welsh-shows, our primary focus was always on having fun and enjoying the experience. Iscar has teached my everything and has been my partner in crime for over 6 years. However, due to me reaching the age limit, we had to make the difficult decision to sell him last year. Currently, I only compete with our horse Boris, who has been part of the family for 11 years already. I share him with both my parents, who competed him first too at Small tour level. Over the past two and a half years, we have been gaining experience in regional classes up to the Dutch ZZL level and have been competing in some national Junior competitions. Apart from my love for horses, I am a full-time Medicine student, and I'm nearing the end of my first year. I have also been volunteering at several dressage and Welsh-shows for several years, where I helped with organisation, handled the secretariat and wrote the judging protocols. For the past two years I have also been competing at Online Horse Showing, which has been a lovely experience. I am really looking forward to being part of the judging team and to all your beautiful pictures! K. Outram Horses have been a part of my life since before I could walk, 27 years into my journey I am still loving every moment. Having initially started out on a supportive family run livery yard which introduced me to my love of flatwork and producing, I now run my own successful freelance groom, rider & instructor business of which I am lucky enough to work with a wide range of equines in numerous disciplines. Alongside currently working towards my dream of training to be a British Dressage judge and recognised BD coach I have had numerous opportunities to expand my education including working for an international dressage rider, multiple showing yards and private breeders. For the past ten years I have competed/groomed/produced both my own and clients horses at county level in the showing world with particular interest in hunters, cobs and small M&M. I hate to sit still and am now in the process of breaking my miniature Shetland mare to drive ready to have my first go at WHIP classes! L. Oliver Hi! I'm Laura, and horses have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember! I grew up near Chicago, IL (USA) and started taking riding lessons in 1988 when I was 8 years old. In high school, I started working at the stable (grooming and tacking up the lessons horses), and I also had the opportunity to share board a horse named Sherlock Holmes. I bought my first horse, Dealer (a retired racehorse who was donated to my college), when I was 19, and I owned him for about 6 years. While in college, I was a member of the equestrian team and competed on the Hunt Seat, Dressage, and Western teams. I also majored in Equine Pre-Veterinary Studies for 1 year, but ended up getting my degree in Education instead. A few years after graduating, I moved to Phoenix, AZ and found my current horse, Brontesaurus, when I was living/teaching there. Bronte is a Percheron/Thoroughbred cross and was born at (and eventually rescued from) a PMU farm in Canada. He was 5 years old and barely started under saddle when I bought him. Over the past 15 years, we have learned and accomplished so much together! We regularly compete in local dressage shows and have earned a USDF Bronze Medal, as well as several USDF All-Breeds Awards. Bronte especially enjoys competing in the Musical Freestyle classes, so I am really looking forward to putting together a 3rd Level freestyle for this upcoming show season. If all goes well, we will also hopefully make our 4th Level debut later this year! V. Baker Hi all, My name is Vanessa and I live on a small farm in Rural New South Wales, Australia. I have been riding horses since I was 5 yrs old and have competed in several discplines including, Pony Club, Show riding, jumping, dressage, campdrafting, sporting and my primary discpline eventing. My current horse, Rocker is an ex racing thoroughbred who I have owned for 2 and half years. We have made our way up the eventing levels and will be entering our first 2* soon. In addition to eventing, we also showjump up to 1.20m and occassionally compete in Novice-Elementary dressage. I have sponsored and judged for OHS previously this year, which combined with my experience judging at local shows and pencilling at small dressage competiton, equips me with plenty of knowledge to fairly judge the multitude of classes OHS has to offer. I look forward to seeing all of your equine friends! K. Whitby Understanding the sole of a horse is the closest a human can achieve to knowing perfection’ author unknown. Hello, my name is Kerrie, and I am genuinely honoured to be a member of the online horse showing judge’s panel. I have had the privilege of being raised around horses since a young age, being deeply involved in the thoroughbred racing sector, and taking part in pony club events and local shows. As a child, my primary interest was in show jumping, which invoked both pride and anxiety in my parents. I am certain that my feet were more secure in my stirrups as a child than on the ground. While horses were a significant part of my childhood and early years, I was able to balance my passion for horses with marriage, raising three children, and pursuing a career as a perioperative surgical nurse. I believe my nursing background enhances my understanding of equine health. My interest in Welsh ponies began with acquiring an exceptional Welsh Pony named Woranora Sabrina from a family friend for the children to ride when they were young. From that moment forward, the Welsh breed held a special place in my heart, leading to the establishment of Ascalon Welsh Stud. We primarily breed Welsh Cobs under the Ascalon prefix in The Riverina, an agricultural region Southwestern New South Wales, Australia. As owners, breeders, and producers in the show ring, we have attained numerous successes, ranging from grassroots local agricultural shows, breed competitions to state royal shows and national and international events. I enjoy judging and running horse show events as much, if not slightly more, than competing in them myself. Nothing brings me greater joy than witnessing the broad smiles of genuine emotional excitement from others as they enjoy time with their ponies. The image above was captured in Central Park, NYC, on my 40th birthday in 2018. Riding a carriage pony in the snow ranks among the most memorable equine experiences of my life. I am very grateful to my husband for making this possible. V. Whittle My name is Vianna and I am 20 years old. I am extremely grateful to have been chosen as a judge for OHS. I have loved horses for as long as I remember, I got into the industry at 10 years old where I helped out at a carriage company and attending weddings, which included having to get the horses ready and hooking them up. I had started to exercise the horses and getting brilliant loan ponies, and I was lucky enough to get my main man Irco Valentino (Scooby) who is a skewbald Dutch warmblood who now 24. Shortly after we found our Appaloosa named Dreamcatcher (Scout) at a local rescue and I have now owned him for 4 years. At the age of 16 I started to freelance at an international show jumping yard as well as working for a 4* eventer. I then proceeded to work for an affiliated showing yard exercising the horses and attending shows. At 19 I worked at an Arabian stud farm, breeding international show Arabs, and now work at an equestrian centre, helping set up for shows and clinics. I brought my third horse at 18, a three year old Polish warmblood called Nebraska which I backed and produced myself. I had previously competed up to novice dressage and CHAPS UK showing (unaffiliated) as well as small jumping and in hand shows. But I also enjoy the online photo shows such as OHS. R. Boyes My parents knew they were in trouble when they picked me up from my very first day of horse camp the summer I was 6 and I proudly told them that my team had won the stall mucking contest. I started competing at 13 and have been in love with showing ever since. As a teenager I competed in the Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation divisions at the provincial level in Ontario, Canada, riding mostly young or green horses. When I went off to university I knew that the fun couldn't end there - I joined my school's equestrian team where I competed for six years on the OCEA and IHSA equitation catch riding circuits in both Canada and the United States, and upon graduating became the Co-President of the Ontario Collegiate Equestrian Association as well as working for a horse show management company in a variety of roles. I have served as a steward at many OCEA shows and had my first experience as a judge when we moved to an online showing format during lockdowns. I then began judging local shows and while unfortunately I have not been able to compete much myself in the last few years, I have enjoyed learning how things work from the other side! A. Harvey Hi everyone! I have been riding since I was 3 so for the past 22 years! I have been extremely lucky in my riding journey to have owned/loaned some incredible horses and ponies who have made me into the rider I am today especially my love for showing which I currently do with my soulmate Oliver a 15.1 18 year old cob, we compete in the veteran classes where last show season we won overall veteran champion and working hunter classes. Oliver really is the most fantastic horse and turns his hoof to everything, whether that be show jumping, cross country, dressage and hunting we always get comments at how much of a pocket rocket he is! Horse riding is my hobby however I am a head girl of a riding school where I have been for the past 13 years, I also have my ride and road safety qualification and ABRS certificates. I am actually a veterinary nurse for small animals, I currently have 2 foster kittens which I hand reared from a day old they came everywhere with me as from 1-3 weeks old they lived in a cardboard box, so they came down to the stables and let's just say Oliver fell completely in love with them! Even though I work predominately with small animals there are cases where I have worked with completely miss treated horses, so welfare is extremely important to me! I have entered a few classes now with online horse showing and have completely become obsessed with it, but I've always been on the side of being judged so thought I would be the other side of the coin and be the judge (i have judged at local shows and riding school league shows) I am extremely excited about judging and can't wait to start! I really look forward to judging you all and making people happy. H. Cornford I don't think my parents knew what they were getting themselves into when they took me, 9 years old, to my first riding lesson on a pony called Acorn. It took precisely 25 minutes to ensure that for the rest of my life, Mum would be worrying about which horse I'd thrown myself off and Dad would always be on standby to drive a lorry to the other side of the country and back (usually at 5am and in sub-zero conditions). I gained my level 2 diploma in Horse Care and Riding from Bridgewater and Taunton College, have a handful of points with British Dressage, and have competed unaffiliated in most disciplines. The highlight of my riding journey has been to take my now veteran mare to Medium level in the dressage arena, something I had only dreamed of when we wobbled round our first Intro. Alongside producing my youngster, today I enjoy online shows, which I've realised is just like normal showing, but with pizza and a glass of wine in my hand! As a judge, I aspire to encourage riders of all ages and abilities to progress, feel confident and have a lot of fun through a welcoming online community which I love being a part of. S. Beveridge Hi everyone! I have ridden since I was 8 years old and was instantly hooked. Previously I have shown in veteran classes and working hunter, competed for riding club and at BD and show groomed at county level. I now live in France with my 15hh all-rounder cob, 12.2hh driving cob and rescue Shetland. I work at a stud breeding dressage horses and have the amazing opportunity to learn on an advanced dressage schoolmaster who I hope one day will make my dream of riding in a tail coat come true! S. Richmond Hi, my name is Summer I am 22 years old. I was raised in a non-horsey environment but have worked my way up to competing at county-level shows and now proudly own two beautiful cobs. Showing has always been a true passion of mine and with experience as both a competitor (in both online and physical shows) and an observer i know first hand the efforts that go into getting horses show ready or even just capturing the perfect moments. I have a diploma in animal management in which I focused my independent studies on equine, I gained valuable hands-on experience as a groom and by helping on a variety of yards but More recently, I have enjoyed teaching children and friends at my yard about showing, from groundwork right through to ridden classes. I look forward to seeing your amazing bonds through your entries and seeing all your beautiful horses and ponies! H. Bunting Hi! I’m Hannah and I’ve been riding for 17 years; I started at the age of 5, when my Mum and Dad thought that letting me help with a friend’s pony would deter me from wanting to do horse riding. Unfortunately for them, the opposite happened, and I loved it! Over the years I have ridden a huge variety of horses and ponies in a variety of settings, worked on riding school yards, competed for my first university’s development team, and enjoyed every single minute of it (except when I was left in a heap on the floor!). I am currently on a bit of a riding sabbatical while I juggle a history degree and my business, but I have been able to ride my friend’s baby pony every time I go home, and I’ve also done a few treks at a local equestrian centre. My current horsey goals are to undertake the BHS Stage exams on the coaching pathway, and, if time allows, pick up riding again on a more regular basis again! I can’t wait to have my own horse, but for now I’m content with living vicariously through the OHS classes! G. Rooney I have been around horses since I was born. My mother is a retired Olympic groom who I have learned many tips and tricks from over the years especially turning out and presenting a horse/pony for competition to a high standard. I compete regularly mainly in dressage and flat showing but now in working hunter and show-jumping. I have broken and produced my own Connemara from a wild 4-year-old to a county-level competition pony. I have just competed at Equifest with my Connemara who placed top 10 in 6 out of 6 classes over 3 days also getting into the prestigious evening performance. I judge at my local equestrian club shows and steward at county shows. Hoping one day to become a mountain and moorland panel judge. I also volunteer at local horse trials in my area and mix a variety of roles from fence judging, ring steward, scoring, and dressage writing. My aim for the years to come is to qualify my home-produced Connemara for HOYS (Horse Of The Year Show). K. Sails Hi everyone, I’m Kath and I’ve been riding since I was 4 years of age. My wonderful parents bought me my first pony when I was 12 and I owned him until he died in 2006. He’s buried in my field and I wouldn’t have been the rider I am today without him! I’m now 52 and an English teacher but horses are still my life and better than that my husband loves them too! Having a husband who loves horses as much as me is so amazing. These days we compete at riding club level in show jumping and cross country and sometimes dressage but we are so lucky to live by some spectacular beaches so hacking out is an absolute pleasure. To me my life wouldn’t be complete without my wonderful Hollyberry a cantankerous skewbald mare who I bought as a 4 year old three years ago. It’s taking a while but we now have a wonderful bond and she makes me smile every day. Horses are wonderful creatures and I can’t imagine life without them. S. Offord I'm Sophie, 26 years old and from Sussex. I own 1 horse who is a retired racehorse and am lucky enough to have been given the ride of another retired racehorse since my boy had to step down to a quieter life. Ive been riding since I was 9 and have always worked with horses. Completed 4 years of Equine Studies at college and university, gained various qualifications including BHS qualifiations. Ive always wanted to try a bit of everything within the equine world which has led to me competing in Dressage, Showjumping and Showing at various stages and I have worked on a wide range of yards such as Eventing, Showjumping, Dressage, Full Livery, Hunting and Racing. S. Mccamon Hi! I’m Sophie, and I have been riding horses since the age of 5. After completing numerous stable management days and pony club, I had my first horse, Ronnie the cob, at the age of 9. Ronnie took me on my first fun rides and local shows. I then went to college, studying equine management, where I competed in the in-house showjumping and dressage, whilst also hosting a show to raise money for world horse welfare. I then went on to study animal therapy at university and currently animal chiropractics at McTimoney College. After my first degree, Ronnie retired, and I bought my first youngster, Loki, a buckskin thoroughbred cross, who I trained to start building up the ladders of showing. I then went on to buy another youngster, Ozzie, an Irish Sports Horse, who I hope to compete in the near future, starting his career with in hand showing, before moving to competing in showjumping. When I’m not studying, or pampering my ponies, I can be seen watching videos on various breeds and a wide range of disciplines, as I love learning anything about horses! M. Jean Hi, My name is Makaela and Ive had horses my entire life. From a very young age I started pony club, moved to adult riders and done showing of many different horse breeds. I currently compete a beautiful clydesdale cross gelding.I dont compete at high levels as I would rather have a better connection with my horse and be happy over a ribbon. Apart from my love for horses, I have recently completed a diploma of digital photography and have started to do abit more photography. I have also done abit of pencilling for dressage and stewarding at shows. I look forward to seeing all your beautiful horses and ponies and being apart of the judging process. C. Harding My name is Charley, I have lived and breathed horses my whole life. I had the privilege of growing up within a horsey family and had my own New Forest Pony growing up. In my more adult life, I have had the pleasure of working in various riding schools including a prestigious school in the heart of the New Forest. Through my many years with the establishment I worked with all breeds of equines including miniature Shetlands and Clydesdales and everything in between. I feel very lucky to have had the New Forest as our playground and spent many years taking beginners and experienced riders of all ages trekking around the many acres of paradise. I ran and organised the school’s pony club including all their shows and events along with judging the various classes. During my time I studied and qualified BHS level 1 and streamlined my skills competing in local dressage shows. I now have the honour of owning a gorgeous draft breed gelding Flynn, I found him late 2022 where he was a little rounder than we would have liked, swayed back and very green at age 7. Since then, we have spent every day bonding, playing and working with him to grow his confidence, skillset and help improve his physical health. After a long 9-month trial period my partner and I purchased him, and our family is complete! We have started doing some low-level dressage and in hand showing to help grow Flynn but our favourite activity is still sunset hacking across the forest. A. Dowra Hi my name is Amber docwra I own 4 horses, 3 ex racehorses and one Irish sport pony, I studied at plumpton college doing horse care and management where I achieved my diploma. I regularly compete in a variety of disciplines from showing to eventing and also compete and my riding club it’s a honour to be able to have this opportunity to Judge OHS and I look forward to seeing all your beautiful horses each month. J. Ashworth Hi, I’m Jasmine, the creator and owner of Online Horse Showing! You may know me from behind the scenes, but horses and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I was lucky to grow up in a family that adored animals, which meant I spent my childhood surrounded by horses, dogs, cats, rodents, and even a few chickens! My love for horses truly took off when, for my 6th birthday, I came home to find my first horse waiting for me—a wild Welsh Section A straight off the Welsh Mountains. That experience taught me patience, resilience, and a love for the equestrian world that shaped my future. At 17, I attended Equine College and earned my Equine Management Qualification. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of owning a variety of horses, though these days I enjoy sharing my passion through the amazing competitors here at Online Horse Showing. Now that I’ve moved away from my family home, I’m the proud owner of Mocha, my adorable dachshund, who you’ve likely heard me talk about (a lot!). As for judging, I oversee the free classes and Everyone's a Winner, and I alternate between judging the Champs or Supremes classes, occasionally stepping in for other classes as needed.

By accessing or using the Website or Services, you enter into a legally binding agreement with the Website operator ("Operator", "we", "us" or "our"). If you access the Website or Services on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to this Agreement. References to "you", "your" or "User" refer to that entity. If you do not have such authority, or do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Website or Services. By accessing or using the Website and Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to this Agreement. This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and the Operator, notwithstanding that it is electronic and not physically signed. By entering any Online Horse Showing competition and using the Website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. 1. General Guidelines Online Horse Showing is an equine-focused recreational competition unless expressly stated otherwise. Other animals may appear in submitted images, but the primary subject must always be the horse. Online Horse Showing is not affiliated with any breed registry or showing organisation. 2. Participation Disclaimer Participation is undertaken entirely at your own risk. By entering, you acknowledge that images are judged against the criteria of the class entered and that any rosettes awarded are free gifts with no monetary value. Entry does not create any entitlement to a prize or rosette. The Operator accepts no liability for injuries, incidents or losses arising from participation. Judges’ decisions are final and shall not be challenged. Refunds are not provided for unplaced entries or entries that remain unused. 3. Entries and Image Requirements Image Ownership and Permissions Entrants must own, or have explicit written permission to use, all submitted images. Images containing watermarks across the subject are not accepted, though advertising or photographer credit watermarks are permitted. Entrants must have permission from all individuals visible in submitted images. Misuse of images will result in disqualification and may, at the Operator’s discretion, result in a permanent ban. Editing Rules Basic digital editing is permitted only to improve image quality and presentation. Permitted adjustments include brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, sharpness, colour balance, cropping, straightening and black-and-white conversion, including selective colour. Filters, including those from social media applications, are permitted but not encouraged. Background changes are permitted only where the replacement background is a single solid colour. Minor removals, such as lead reins or similar distractions, are permitted provided they do not alter the horse’s natural appearance, markings, conformation or condition. All editing must be carried out manually using traditional, non-AI editing tools and must not change the horse’s physical characteristics. Prohibited Additions No editing may add new visual elements to the horse or significantly alter the original scene. The horse’s natural appearance, markings, colour, shape or condition must not be altered or enhanced. Elements not present in the original photograph must not be added unless explicitly permitted in the class criteria. Decorative text, borders and clipart images are permitted across all classes, provided they do not obscure or alter the horse or the original photographed environment. Minor additions are permitted only where specifically stated. AI Restrictions AI is not permitted under any circumstances. AI tools or features, including background replacement, retouching, object removal or object addition, must not be used. Any editing that automatically generates, fills or alters image content is prohibited. Any image found to have used AI will be disqualified unless a class explicitly states that AI editing is accepted. Submission and Entry Requirements All entries must be submitted in their completed state. The Operator does not provide editing, background or collage services and reserves the right to request original, unedited files to verify authenticity. Failure to provide these may result in disqualification without refund. Entries must include the entrant’s first name, surname and the horse’s name and must follow the required naming format. Entries that do not comply may be rejected or amended to comply. Permission must be obtained for professionally taken images. Images depicting unsafe handling or poor horsemanship may be scored lower at the judge’s discretion. Appropriate safety equipment is recommended. Repeat Image Restriction (Winning Entries) Any photograph or collage awarded 1st place in an Online Horse Showing competition may not be re-entered in the same or any subsequent class or show run by the Operator for one (1) calendar month following the announcement of results. This restriction applies to the exact original winning entry and to any reproduction or derivative version that retains substantially the same composition, arrangement, or photographic content as the original entry, including but not limited to cropped, edited, resized, filtered, colour-adjusted, or rearranged versions. A reworked collage will not be considered a prohibited variation provided that it is materially different in overall composition and layout, does not replicate the overall visual structure of the original winning collage, and contains at least one additional or alternative photograph not included in the original winning collage. For clarity, an individual photograph that previously formed part of a winning collage may be submitted as a new entry during the restriction period only where the original winning collage contained four (4) or more photographs. The photograph must be entered as a standalone image and must not replicate the composition or structure of the original winning collage. The Operator has sole and final authority to determine whether an entry constitutes a reproduction, derivative version, or materially different rework. Any entry found to breach this restriction will be disqualified without refund. 4. Classes and Deadlines Classes with fewer than ten entries may be extended to the following month. Submission deadlines may be amended at the Operator’s discretion. Each horse and owner combination may enter the same class more than once. For collage-based classes, entrants must prepare and submit their own collages. The Operator reserves the right to withdraw, merge or cancel classes at any stage. Where this occurs, entries may be transferred or deferred, but no additional refund or payment will be made. 5. Refunds and Eligibility Refunds are provided only at the Operator’s discretion and do not include processing or transaction fees. Free entries and unused loyalty points are non-refundable and have no cash equivalent. If an entry is deemed ineligible, entrants may be offered the option to reassign the entry or defer it to a future event. 6. Rosettes and Prizes Rosettes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability unless otherwise stated. Newcomers free rosettes apply only where eligibility conditions are met and stock is available. Due to Global Shipping and Postal Regulations and applicable customs restrictions, first-place prizes cannot be shipped to Northern Ireland or EU member countries. Where shipment is not possible, no prize will be issued. Prizes for sponsored classes are fulfilled by the sponsor. Prizes are non-transferable, non-substitutable and have no cash alternative. Unclaimed prizes are retained for six months and then forfeited. Entrants must ensure address details are accurate. The Operator is not responsible for items lost or misdirected due to incorrect information. By entering, you grant permission for submitted images or videos to be shared on the Website and social media platforms unless otherwise stated at entry. 7. Postage and Delivery UK entrants receive free standard delivery using a postal service selected at the Operator’s discretion, which may include Royal Mail Second Class or an alternative service. Delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. International entrants are responsible for all postage fees, customs duties and import charges. The Operator is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit. 8. Judging and Results Judging commences after the official closing date. Judges have three days to deliver results. The Operator aims to publish results as soon as reasonably possible, but delays may occur and no liability is accepted for late publication. Judges and their close family members must not enter the classes they judge. Entries may be reassigned where a conflict of interest exists. 10.
