Welcome to the official results of our March 2025 Online Horse Show! This virtual event featured a mix of traditional and novelty classes, showcasing a fantastic range of talent.

Below, you’ll find class placings, judge feedback, and details on how to claim your rosettes and prizes.

Non-Sponsored Classes: Rosettes and prizes will be sent automatically; no need to request them.
International Participants: A postal invoice will be emailed before your rosettes are dispatched.

Class 3 — Best Condition

Judge's comments: "A huge well done to everyone who entered this class as I felt the condition of all of your horses and ponies was excellent which made judging the class really difficult. The top 3 especially were really close. Here are my top 10:"

1. Amber Scutchings & Skylar - "A wonderful collage of pictures which show cases the excellent condition of Skylar who is bright and alert in them all. Her coat is gleaming and her muscles are well developed. Well done!"

2. Dani Simmers & Cloontuskeret Alex - "Alex is standing alert and his hooves look strong with a defined shape. He also has a healthy body condition. Overall a wonderful picture of a healthy horse."

3. Carolyne Page & Cupido - "Another example of a horse in excellent condition. The shine on his coat especially caught my eye and he has a bright eye. He is a credit to you."

4. Lizzie Mayer & Chromatic - "He has a lovely conditioned coat and he has some lovely muscle shape. An eye-catching collage. "

Class 5 — Jumping Stars

Judge's comments: "This was probably the highest standard of class I've ever judged for OHS, with lots of these entries deserving real credit. I am certain that several of these will be winning photos on another day, so do put them in again. The highest placed had the most consistency, with correct technique and obvious ease. Be careful that if you use collages, that all the photos are of the same standard. Several people dropped places because one or two photos weren't as strong, whereas if the weaker ones had been left out, they'd have got the higher rosettes.

Be wary of over-folding - remember the horse won't jump higher if you fold more dramatically! Special mention to Keeley Campling who came 7th, and demonstrates really well why having a secure seat with a sensible 'just enough' fold is important on a bouncy horse! (Well done Keeley!) Also watch the lower legs swinging back and toppling over the horse's shoulders; shortening the stirrups a couple of holes and keeping your lower leg more secure will help the horse get his shoulders up and make a cleaner jump. A very well done all. "

Judge's comments: "Amazing and amusing pictures in this class! Nice to see all the grey horse owners enter this one (I wonder why!) I really do feel for those who entered and the brushing/cleaning that must have followed. Our horses really do love Mud! How many times do you clean your horse in winter before you give up?!?"
